Best supermarket/shop cake recommendations

Recommendations for tasty shop/supermarket cakes that I can serve kids and adults at a kids birthday party.

Hoping to have a few cakes and pre-cut beforehand.

Taste and value wise Costco

Can't go wrong with Colin the caterpillar.

I love the big traybake style ones. They’re not fancy but they’re lovely and moist and the icing is good.

I had enormous praise for the Tesco Finest ones at a recent party.

We bought two of the cheapo Miss Molly cakes at Tesco and they were both great. Got the chocolate one and the normal plain sponge - the plain sponge was probably nicest. Most kids don't even eat it so I wasn't spending a fortune!
