Present Ideas - 40 year old male?????????

My friends dh is going to be 40 when on holiday. I (and my dc's) will be at the same resort so will be celebrating with them.

But i have no ideas at all on what to buy. He loves music but want to get him something more of a keepsake that just a cd.

Please help me?

Someone gave me a CD which had all the number ones from my birthday for the last 40 years. Think they did it themselves.

Now that is a lovely idea, thanks lilolilmanchester. But sadly the only thing i can do on computer is mumsnet!!! And its my friends dh i get to put music on my mp3 and such stuff!

But please keep ideas coming - what was the best pressie ever given/received.

My DH is 40 this week and I wanted to get him an 'experience' rather than a 'thing' as he has everything he could need! So I went on Red Letter Days and booked a snooker session with a famous player who tells anecdotes and helps you with your game.

There were LOADS of other things on that site - a good one for a music lover was a spell in a recording studio!
