my 13 month old has recently gotten over a cold, but for a while we noticed he kept pulling at his ear.

took him to the Docs atleast twice and they said hes teething. He has just had his front teeth come through.

he was still pulling at his ear and started to get a temperature on Friday. Took him to Docs again and they said he has a ear infection which is causing his fever.

he is okay in himself in the day other than feeling hot when temperature rises. We’ve been through high temps with him before and even took to a&e for a check and they sent us away saying theyd only be concerned if his temp was like 41 plus! So this has me feeling not too worried now hes got another one.

do you think i should take him to a friends 1st birthday party?

hes not showing signs of being sick other than with infection and fever, but i wouldnt want anyone elses child to get sick, so im unsure.

Absolutely not OP. Nobody with a fever should be going anywhere. Imagine how poorly you'd feel with a high temperature. Not to mention they are contagious too.

No my 16month DD has the same and she's so poorly with it! I wouldn't especially with the noise of a party etc. just lots of cuddles!
