Planning a party for my 1 year old

Hi everyone!

My partner and I are planning our little ones first birthday party. I'm super stuck for ideas about what to plan and what things would be good to keep the babies entertained.

There will be adults and about 4 or 5 other babies of similar ages there.

We have a theme, but that's about all.

Any suggestions for entertainment for party would be appreciated!

We hired a small hall and had the little tents you can crawl through, brick walkers, balls, lots of toys and teddies, brio track etc and they just toddled/crawled around and played.

1st birthday is probably the only one you don't really need a "party" for the kids - if they are all age 1 then just let them play like a play date.
Keep it simple with balloons (watch like a hawk for burst ones), toys, music and little sandwiches etc - they're too young to do normal party traditions.

Well done on making it to one year of parenthood!

Thank you both! That's really helpful :)
