My ds will be 3 this year and will have been going to nursery 2 mornings a week for about 2 months by then. I am due to give birth about 3 weeks before his birthday and I was wondering how old were your dc when they started having 'proper' parties. Not neccessarily at soft play etc but friends round for their birthday, am wondering if I can get away with not doing it this year and starting next year as if I go 2 weeks over due date new baby will only be week old! On other hand don't want ds to be the only child at nursery that doesn't get a party!
