When do adults eat at kids party?

Planning a party for my 3 year old, we are catering for adult family/ friends as well as kids.

Might do it around 3-5/6.

Do we serve adult food at the same time as the kids eat? Which I think would be around 4:30/5.

There will be soft play, bouncy castle and slide. So kids will play first I guess.

Parties I've been to in a hall tend to only do food for kids. Sometimes individual lunch boxes. If it's a buffet adults are invited to dig in once the kids have helped themselves.

Parties at home there would tend to be nibbles and drinks for the adults. If I was hosting I would probably just put the food out around the same time as the kids.

We fed everyone at the same time, it was just easier for us so I wasn’t preparing and setting up everything twice. Everything was on one large long table, majority of parents did their plate and their child’s at the same time, some food was aimed more at children vice versa. Some kids like more grown up food and some adults like simple food!

It made sense for us that everyone was eating at the same time, I didn’t have to be keeping an eye on my toddler bouncing off the bouncy castle while trying to eat and could sit near her when everyone was eating. It was really lovely having everyone eating together.

Parties are for the children. Nothing needs to be supplied for the parents.

School age parties may only carter for the children, but for family and close friend parties I’ve always cartered for everyone!

I've always catered for everyone present, including adults and siblings, and always fed everyone at the same time.

I had a late morning / afternoon party 11-1. I catered to everyone. Picky bits for adults and choice of meal kids. Everyone ate together.
