DD's party in 2 weeks - I need a check list of what I need to do!

So, it is all booked and invites went out a bit before end of term. Have had most replies but not all yet.

It is in a local sports hall ad we have a dance teacher coming who runs the main bulk of the party - dance routines, games and prizes.

I need to organise the rest.

DD is going to be 6yo. We have between 15 and 20 coming I think; mainly girls but 2 or 3 boys. Most guests are 5-6, some younger.

What I have done so far:

Venue - booked; will confirm weekend before

Entertainment - booked; will confirm weekend before

Invites - already out; most replies back; need to chase remainder

Cake - have ordered A4 sized icing topper and some cup ckae sized toppers (HSM); need to order the actual cake and cupcakes plus something to put them on

Party bags - have the girls items (Polly Pocket sets), older boys science book) and toddlers (music CD); need something for a couple of the guests that can't have above. Need some tissue paper to wrap them.

Food - nothing ordered or bought yet. DD wants veggie sticks, pitta bread, humous, mini sausages, etc. Coming we have a child with a dairy allergy and another who can't have chocolate. So this affects what I can put out, esp for dessert/sweet stuff

Table wear - have some green/blue/red plates and some blue plates with red/green stars on them. Have some serving bowls (4 big and a few little ones) and trays. Was considering using lining paper on the tables instead of table clothes, and putting a wax crayon at each child's place to write their name, personalise their space? Need napkins

Decorations - as dance party was thinking of putting some HSM posters up on wall near dance area; need to get some balloons and a banner too.

What else? My brain won't think!

have a good party- will watch with interest as dd also wants a hsm theme party but we have a while to wait yet

Fortunately I don't have to sort entertainment I have paid for that to be done for me this year - have a lady coming who teaches them dance routines to songs such as HSM, Take That, Hannah Montana, etc. And she will also do some party games with them as well. Have her booked for the full two hours.

Our HSM theme is only very loose - i.e. a couple of songs, the invites (made using the HSM postcards), the cake topper and some posters.
