DS2 is four and is his party tomorrow. Was going to do Easter egg hunt but don't trust Manchester weather.

Going to do a couple of pass the parcels and I have just MADE a pin the tail on the donkey (in a very worthy fashion - Tesco were out.) May see if they can manage musical bumps or statues too.

Can anyone think of any other games for about 10 boys? And it's in my house too so nothing that takes up a huge amount of space.

Duck Duck Goose is popular
What's teh time mr Wolf.
Use cushions or even coloured bits of paper to do a kind of musical chairs.

What i used to do was ... put little sweets into balloons ( yes i know not very pc) Put them in a big sheet and fix the sheet to the ceiling !!! Near the end of the party pull the sheet down and let the kids ( they love it !!) JUmp on the balloons and pop them and eat the sweets !! Not for nervous children !!. Oh and good luck at picking up all the bits of balloon. If not let them decorate the back of some paper plates ( bit of a cleaner suggestion)

THey sit in a circle. One of them goes round the outside tapping each child on the head in turn saying "duck" as they do it - then they say "goose" instead and that child has to get up and chase the first child round the circle to see who gets to the space where the "goose" child was sitting first. Whoever loses gets to do the "duck" "duck" bit the next time.
(ask your ds - if he goes to nursery he will know it!!)
You can also do a game where you have a bunch of keys - or similar noisy thing. Child sits with back to other kids - keys behind them. One child has to try and creep up and get the keys without being heard.
Can you tell I've done a few kids' parties!
