Has anyone ever renewed their wedding vows?

What do you do, is it the same as a wedding, do you wear a toned down wedding dress and everything that goes with a wedding.

i have attended a "wedding renewal service" as it were. It was just in the normal Sunday service. The couple wore suits and it was to celebrate their 25th anniversary. I would imagine you could make it as big or as low key as poss. hth

Yes it was lovely. we renewed for 10 years as our first wedding we eloped to Las Vegas, this time we had 17 family and friends at a chapel by the sea, it was also a holiday as everyone had to fly there. I worn a full skirt strapless dress and had 2 bridesmaids. Mine and bridesmaids dresses were really really cheap as factory second type things, but it all looked amazing. We also had christening for our son at the same time, it was a great day, and much less nerve racking than 1st time around.

i say do whatever you want, I think real love is worth celebrating
