Hi, have purchased one of these for my son's party and just wondered if it will actually work. Seems a bit flimsy and have visions of the whole thing coming down when the release cord is pulled (think it will need a hard pull)

Don't want to make a big deal out of it for the kids if its not going to work!

Thanks in advance.

Yes, and it was brilliant. The children went mental and loved it.

Ours was a cheap poundland one and flimsy too. We couldn't actually reach the ceiling of the hall we were in so secured it to the wall over the top of the door.

A bubble machine was another hit. They went mental at that point too.
