Birthday party new school

Just wanted to get some advice if anyone has some previous experience of this. My son is in Y7 in a new school that he started in Sep last year. His birthday is coming up and he has put a list together of friends from his new school and a couple from his old school that he is still in touch with regularly.

Has anyone done this and it has worked smoothly with a mix of boys where they don’t all know each other, or is it better to just do new school friends and do something separate with his old friends?

Do what your son wants, and let him handle the old friends new friends part.

What will they be doing? Football or some other organised activity to keep them busy and I'm sure it'll be fine and a good way to keep in contact

They will be playing in the pool and football in the garden! We have gone for a mix of old and new friends and I’m sure it will be great!
