Present ideas for 2 year old girl

Hi there. Out of touch with this age group now…
Would love ideas for a gift for friend’s 2 year old DD to bring to an adults and kids party for her. Thank you!

Have you got a budget in mind? Do you know if she's into anything in particular I.e. art/crafts, outdoorsy

I was going to suggest a Melissa & Doug toy as mine both loved the play food but prices seem to have shot up.

How about a nice book?

You can get some good deals on it sometimes provided you have the time to look. I have some of their play food put by for my daughter that I brought for £8.
