Gift ideas for a 4 yo girl (classmate of DD) ?Don't know her or parents at all as DD just started there. Also what's the general rule for gift budget in an all class party?

Bumping this just in case it got lost! Anyone?

I don’t know about a general rule but I’ve always had a £10 budget. Although we’ve never had an all class invite so only been to close friends parties. Art/craft is generally a safe gift idea, although my dd is very opinionated and headstrong so she always chooses something herself within budget.

Peppa pig book? Anything with unicorns or glitter. One of those plastic balls with a surprise cat or unicorn toy inside, the small ones are about a fiver. Plastic kid jewellery. A baking kit or craft kit.

TBH I think my 4 year old would be thrilled with a 5 pound note to spend herself, she’s never really had cash.

I have a 4 year old. These are the presents she got that she loved:

frozen art tube (pens and stickers inside)

hair clips

a hatchable egg with a unicorn inside

a bug collecting kit for Forrest walks

light up wellies

bath bombs with presents inside (this was honestly the scene stealer, she loves these more than is reasonable lol)

elsa balloon

pirate treasure

Elsa gloves and a crown

Playdoh
Colouring book with nice crayons/scented felt tips.

Anything arts and crafts I would say, colouring, stickers, pens etc
