Joint party of 5 - gift etiquette

Hello

we are due to go to a joint party for 5 children from daughters school.. they have mentioned
that rather than feel you have to buy more than one gift theyll split out the presents received between the kids so if we’d like to bring one don’t feel the need to bring more than 1

not sure whether etiquette is to regardless bring 5 gifts anyways? We don’t know the kids that well as we are new to school..

thanks

if I don't know all of them very well, perhaps each a box of chocolate and/or a pair of novelty socks? practical and can be eaten. another good choice is get each one a book, depends on what age they are. kids these days has got too many toys. look up for 3 for 2, 2 for 1 deals

I personally would buy 5 gifts but of a lesser value so it isn't costing you a fortune.

I would buy 5 small craft kits or something similar.
