Christening gift from Grandparents

Hi all abit of an AIBU but I’m wondering if your child got christened would you expect some sort of card/ small gift from your own parents for the child? If so what sort of gift would you think appropriate? Thanks all

My son got a silver musical box and a bookend. Think got a few other christening artifacts as well as a cross. Not everyone did. My mum also brought the outfit.
