Need ideas for my 6yr old birthday party

Hello,

So DS is turning six in February and I need ideas from fellow mums on what I can arrange outside of the usual softplay?

Its his first party ever so I dont mind going a bit over but again i have no clue what a bunch of 6 yr old would enjoy together other than a soft play

Depends on what he likes and where you're based. My son love animals. We hired a hall and have Ranger Stu came over, the party was a blast!

I was going to comment similar, my daughter loves animals so we had a company bring lots of different ones into a hall, the kids got to hold them and learn a bit about them. All the kids loved it!

Aah thats nice! DS loves planets and trucks. I'll look for an entertainer. The ranger one is good!

Tried Little city today but I feel even though its up-to 6 it really depends on whether the kids will like role-play games.

We hired an entertainer and the kids loved playing party games and dancing while being showered bubbles a blast. The entertainer did some other 'calmer' things too which gave them an opportunity to chill out a bit. Some food and balloons and the kids were over the moon. I think the kids being together having fun is more than enough for them!

We are doing bowling and pizza for our DDs 6th.
