Hiya, my son wants a whole class party with a bouncy castle. It's in December so will be indoors, and as yet I can't guarantee that we can fit a bouncy castle inside the venue.

I am looking for some foolproof activities incase we can't have the bouncy castle.

So far...
A friend has agreed to do face painting
I will order some temporary tattoos and have another table with those
I'd like to have a craft table - is this a good idea? If so have you any craft ideas?

Obvs cake/pass the parcel

All ideas gratefully considered!

Can you get some big versions of games? E.g giant Jenga, connect 4, big Lego blocks

If there is not enough room for a bouncy castle will there be enough room for an entire class?

I did a whole class party for my daughters 6th birthday party earlier this year, I hired a children's entertainer who did all the games and it was money well spent!

Big games are a fab idea!
It's the height of the hall that is in question, so it will fit lots of kids.

We did a smaller at home party for DS's 6th but had a craft table that included mask making which seemed to go down well. They could make them with or without eye holes so that they could be worn for the piñata later on if they wanted to.

Mask making is a good idea, thanks!

Paying someone to entertain them is ideal 😂

Professional entertainer always a good option. I went to a kids party in a church hall earlier this year where they had an animal encounter man. He bought baby ducks, two little lambs, small mamals, reptiles and birds. It was good.

We did plain cardboard crowns, which they coloured in and we put loads of jewel stickers on the tables so they could decorate them. This worked well. Pass the parcel went well too.

There were some great science parties where an entertainer came and did some fun demos, the. Either slime making or bath bomb making. Looked really relaxing for the hosting parents too!

If you really want a bouncy castle and have not booked any hall yet, some bouncy castles supplier's websites got a section that recommend halls and venues, look up for that. Alternatively, they will have low heights castles.
