Please help…first birthday party ideas not at home

Hi

My son is going to be one in a few months! I have no idea how to celebrate, I know he won’t remember but I want to do a party, he loves being around lots of people and he will have lots of photos/videos to look back on when he’s older.

My house is not big enough to host a party, we only have around 4 baby friends, and then our family. So hiring out a hall would be too big. What can I do?? Please ideas would be amazing!

Hire a room at nursery?
At a grandparents house?
Any small soft play cafes you could hire a few tables at?

Small function room at a pub/restaurant/hotel?
Check local churches - some have several different sized halls.
Local leisure centre might have rooms to hire
