30th party ideas with kids!

Hello,

It's my 30th in January and I come from a really big family. I would absolutely love to have a party and get everyone together but we will have a 18mo at the time and most of our friends and cousins have young children too. I really want the kids to be able to come so your traditional 7pm onwards, hire a venue/disco etc type of party just wouldn't be appropriate.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a daytime party that would cater to kids and adults?? Did anyone do something like this for their own party?? If it was a summer birthday we'd just head to the park or beach but winter birthdays in England are not outdoor friendly 😂!

This is exactly what I want to do! My 30th is also in Jan! I've seen no examples of something like this. I was thinking about hiring a function room but in the afternoon, like a christening. Maybe getting a face painter, do some sort of arts and crafts table, bouncy castle or other activities. Have you fingered it out yet?
