Hello! My DS will be turning 12 soon. Please can I ask for some party ideas? Thank you!! 🙂

We had a swimming party when my son turned 12. They had exclusive use, all the floats, inflatables and the poolside music turned up.
I ordered pizza and chips which was delivered in time for them getting out and they had cake and sweet cones to take home.
They all had a good time and it's probably one of the easiest parties I've done.

Go Karting?

I think we did laser tag at that age, they loved it.

Took him & his 3 best friends to an indoor crazy golf place then back to ours for take away curry. If he had wanted a bigger party I probably would've suggested lazer tag or trampoline park.

We are planning on ten pin bowling - but it probably depends how many you want to invite.

Another idea was a local indoor climbing wall that runs parties. Another boy did that and my DS loved it.

And Lazerquest is always popular.

This year because it was during when omicron first hit and large parties in public groups seemed like a bad idea, I just invited DS two closest friends to ours plus their Mums and younger siblings.

Did a birthday tea, Mums drunk tea then fizz while the young siblings played with us and each other, DS and the boys went off to play and did multi player Minecraft and then put on a magi.c show (of sorts!) with the new magic box that DS had been given.

It was low key, but I think everyone really enjoyed it - and it was lovely to catch up with the Mums in a relaxed way, which wouldn't be possible with a bigger party if you're hosting.

Thank you for the ideas - will definitely look into them! My DS is thinking of inviting four friends - two boys and two girls. DS2 will join in, too.
