I've already spent a fortune on the party so i don't want to have one made because of the expense, but i want a big boys cake (20 kids coming). Does anyone know of a supermarket that does one to save me traipsing round?

Sainsbury's have quite big cakes, I think.

You may be able to order one online from a supermarket - I don't think they're very expensive.

If you have a Costco nearby and know anybody with a card, their cakes are great and biiiig. Not easy if you do not have one, I know, but they are good and you can order with a message on it.

Asda and Sainsbury's do those big photocakes. Just buy the cake without the photo and decorate yourself.
