an elimination game

when the music stops you can either be a star (stand with arms and legs out) or a sheep (on all 4s saying baa) or think of 2 other christmas characters and have an action for them

one of the groups is out each time

does that make sense? we did that at our church christmas party, but I was paying very little attention to what the 4 options were!

duck, duck, goose - only make it santa, santa, snowman (or equivalent) ... or maybe 6 year olds are too old for duck, duck, goose?

get big bits of wrapping paper and cut into shapes. have one per child. when music stops have to stand on paper. remove pieces each time

'What's the time Father Christmas?'
he says various times like Mr Woolf BUT when he says bedtime they have to run and lie down and pretend to be asleep. Last one back is out and so on
