That's it really- am thinking of Sunday afternoon, maybe 2-4 but am interested in what day/time suit parents best/ are preferred for the dc. Dd will be 4 but am interested in thoughts for all age groups

I try and make it hit a meal time, so would be more likely to go for 3-5pm.

And I always chose a weekend.

Same as hula. But have had other times when dictated by venue.

Thanks, just trying to make it a time that doesn't clash with too many people's plans!

2-4 is ok but 3-5 better. Definitely avoid having it smack in the middle of the day as that can get in the way of doing family stuff.

Once they are school age having it straight after school can be the best bet, esp on a friday afternoon

2-4 used to be my dds nap times (when they were little). id rather it was 12-2, children seem to do parties better early in the day. for older ones id say 3-5

2-4 is a very late nap time naily. Mine used to go 12.30-2.30 which would not fit too well with your time.
