for someone who already has a houseful of lovely things, is moving away from our beautiful island and is expecting a baby (therefore extensive photo library guaranteed!!)

Is a digi photo frame, loaded with some choice pictures from the wedding day and maybe a couple of local ones tacky or thoughtful...

I just can't decide but I have only DAYS!!

HELP!!!

My brother got one for his wedding and loves it. He loaded it with his honeymoon pics and will change it after diff holidays etc. Better than a normal picture frame IMO. I'd love it.

suwoo · 21/10/2007 20:16

Definately not tacky no. I would have loved someone to buy one for our wedding, would have thought it super thoughtful and original. Go for it.

3Ddonut · 21/10/2007 20:16

I think it's a fab idea, I'd be well chuffed to receive one!!!!!

teuch · 21/10/2007 20:17

WHat on earth is tacky about it? Inless the recipient is one of those ghastly people who is proud of not having a computer in the house or something. Sounds like a lovely idea to me.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 21/10/2007 20:20

Teuch asked for opinions, I gave mine. Fail to see the issue.

mrsmerton · 21/10/2007 20:35

IMO a beautiful album , the ones with the tissue leaves inbetween each page would be a more 'tasteful' reminder of a lovely day.

I'm not a gadget fan, they may be...

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 21/10/2007 21:02

LGJ clasps MrsM to her in betweeny boosom...

WideWebWitch · 21/10/2007 21:03

Tacky.
A framed print or an album much nicer imo

Have just discussed this with DH, we reckon the best use of a digital frame would be to link it to Outlook Diary(Other products are available)

It could then scroll on a weekly/daily basis and you would never forget appointments/ birthdays etc.,

lilospell · 21/10/2007 22:22

Teuch, reallay like the digi frame idea. Bree, you're entitled to your opinion, same as the rest of us. Just very glad I don't have to buy you presents/have you round to dinner etc. Am pretty sure you are THE Bree Van Der Camp, not just someone using the nickname!

teuch · 22/10/2007 16:07

Thank you for ALL your opinions!!

I have gone right ahead and ordered one - I reckon that they are both in to gadgety things plus if they don't like the slideshow type of thing they can just change it to a different pic whenever they fancy...

I want one, and I think my friend will recognise the intention behind it, but I got from high street department store just in case she hates it
