We have decided to have a halloween party this year instea of trick or treating. It will be small and at my flat and will have children ranging in age from 3 - 10, but with most around 5 ish. Total of 8 children (plus one little one) and 5 mums.
We will be having a sort of lunch ish (all home edded children so not at school).
The problem is that we have vegetarians attending (and the mum is vegan), a child who has some really severe restrication and mostly only eats meat on the bone (!), and the other families mostly prefer their kids to eat healthy and not junk food. We also don't have enough seating room for a proper sit down meal. Not sure what to do!
I did think about doing pumpkin soup (homemade) but that would require us sitting at a table really. We are going to make relativly healthy carrot cake muffins with halloween decorations on them. Also said we would do a sort of clue type treasure hunt. The easiest would be sweets, but not sure how the mums will feel about that. Also, anyone know where I can get veggie chewey sweets from?
Any ideas???? Help!!!
