5th Birthday celebration ideas

Hi All
DS is turning 5 in October. Normally we would hire a hall or do a soft play party. I was hoping we can still hire a hall in October, but it's looking less likely isn't it? What else can I do to celebrate under the Covid circumstances? Something that he can do with 3-4 of his close friends from nursery? It's his last month in nursery and he will miss them when he goes to school. Has anyone done something similar? Looking for ideas on some fun things we can do. We are in England

Thank you!

Lots of the parents local to us are hiring bouncy castles for the garden. Would something like that work?

Where I live most people either book a hall or in good weather the local football pitch. With that many I would being them to a decent playground and a picnic?
Bouncy castle (local sports hall rents them cheaply enough on an hourly basis).

Thanks @Kreacheriscleaning, I did consider bouncy castle in the garden, but unfortunately our garden is not big enough for that so wouldn't be very convenient. Also, as it's in October weather will be unpredictable Confused
thanks @sitckmansladylove, are people hiring halls now? Or was that during pre covid days? If we can hire a hall now, i will definitely look into it. Social distancing (at least between parents) will be more feasible in a bigger hall than at our home. But not sure if that’s allowed now. I will check with a few local halls.
Playground picnic sounds great actually, I would love to do it...but again as October weather is unpredictable, I would only know may be a week in advance, so won't be able to plan in advance.
I will check if any local companies are doing socially distant activities for kids parties. I am not really worried about the children as they meet each other everyday at nursery. But don't want to do anything against the guidelines!
