Wedding abroad, ideas and suggestions please...

My brother in law has recently got engaged and they are quite keen to have a wedding abroad. They are thinking about having in in Greece. I was wondering if any of you have been to or have got married abroad. Do you have any tips of ideas to make it special and not just a 10 minute ceremony on the beach kinda thing???

We got married in Sri Lanka.

The morning of the wedding, we had breakfast followed by a massage. We had the ceremoney, which was actually fairly drawn out as had the legal ceremony bit followed by Sri Lankan tradional bits, then we had photos on the beach. After that we drank champagne and ;ater we had an evening meal.
