Party game ideas - sort of princessy theme

Hi all

Would love some party game ideas for a joint party for my soon-to-be 3 and six year old girls. Have a sort of "royal ball" princes and princesses theme going on. Mostly girls at the party but a couple of boys. I have some teenage cousins on hand to help with the games etc - already have some face paints and was thinking of getting some glittery tatttoos and coloured hairspray for a "getting ready to go to the ball" session, also have a bubble machine and a CD player, and have a husband willing to do "royal portraits" with his digital camera (we are setting up a "throne room" with gold curtains and a big chair!). Any ideas for a few princessy type games we could do? I thought maybe sleeping lions but call it sleeping beauty, musical chairs but call it musical thrones, that kind of thing. Any more????

Print out lots of pictures of cinderella, sleeping beauty etc, then make up a bingo card for each guest with a different selection of the pictures on each.

Actually just click on "Fun and games" or crafts and there are loads of ideas.

put out little crowns from card, hide them round the house & play Hunt The Crowns (or Find the Handsome Prince !)

A treasure hunt might be good - looking for pix to do with princesses (castles, kings etc).

Chocolate eating game and they have to dress in tiara, Belle's gloves etc

Princess's footsteps (like grandma's)

Last 2 parties I have done a fab game I invented (maybe) where I drew a treausre map and marked off in squares, told a story about how I got it (a pirate came to my door with it etc) and then everyone picks a square. The winning sq is in a fancy sealed envelope to be opened at end of party. Easy to adapt to any theme - draw map of castle with throne room, ballroom, princess's bedroom etc.
