Suggestions for son's 4th Birthday party !

I need advice. I am planning my son's 4th birthday this summer. My party will mainly have adults around 35 and only 5 kids. 2 kids are 10 years old, 2 are 7 years old and 2 are 4 years old. I have 2 options:

1. Have party in a hall. Provide lunch or dinner and maybe hire magician. My hall does not allow bouncy castle.
2. Have party in backyard. Make it for lunch. Hire bouncy castle.

Is there anything else I can do to make this party fun ? Any suggestions between hall or backyard?

I would go for the hall so you don't have to worry about the weather.

We had the Animal Man - well it was an Animal Woman - she was brilliant - I had kids 2-10 and lots of adults and everyone joined in. She bought cockroaches, snakes, owls etc so depends if you like that kind of thing.

I am surprised you have so many adults coming to a 4th birthday party ...35 adults and 6 kids. Are they mostly family? If your garden can accomodate that many and a bouncy castle, then certainly the better option IMO.
