4 year old birthday party... who do I invite

Hi, so I will be doing my little boy his first party for his 4th birthday party, with a bouncy castle or entertainer... I am unsure on who to invite.. do I just invite his little friends and there parents or do I invite his little friends and also his grandparents, aunties etc as obviously they would all love to be there too but every party we have been to lately is just for school friends... help!

Birthday 'tea' on the day for family

Party is for his little friends (& their parents)

Pre school, I'd just have birthday tea, with relations.
Once at school - ie 5th birthday onwards - then I'd have 'birthday tea' on their birthday or nearest weekend and the friends party another day. Depends on health / fitness / time commitments of Grandparents, then many will like being asked to help at the 'friends' party too.

We have a birthday tea with family on the actual birthday and a party for friends on the closest weekend. I often get helpful family members to come and help at the party though.
