Disco fancy dress - HELP....

Any ideas welcome?? I am not one to stand out and preferably like to blend into the background - what on earth can I wear??! I'm not exactly stick thin either so tiny little dresses are not an option.... help!!!!!

I'd do flares, some big earrings and a colourful scarf type thing.

I don't like standing out much either but would want to have at least made a little effort.
