Ideas for first birthday present for my godson please!

Hi all

I'm pregnant with first child so no expert in baby pressies but would like to buy my godson a nice first birthday gift and am stuck for ideas.

His parents are very close friends of mine and have everything materially they may need. I will need to post present to Dubai or arrange delivery to there as that's where they currently live.

I am thinking along the lines of thoughtful rather than flashy and needs to be small enough in size to post.

Budget c.£50 if that's reasonable?!

At 1 they are not really into much that won't go into their mouths. You could send a little nativity set if you want a religious set. More for the parents at this age but nice for future years. Or send a token present and then tell them that you will get a couple of bottles of a good wine from 2016 which will age well to lay down for his 18th birthday.

My son was given a personalised nursery rhyme book from not on the high street it's lovely. Maybe some nice jammies or something to go with it.
