My dd is 2 at the end of April and adores fifi so we are going with this theme, where did you decide to get your stuff from in the end and did you find anywhere for a fifi cake.

I did a fifi party last year

i bought fifi and bumble printed sugar paper circles from a shop on ebay and stuck these onto cupcakes with glace icing. It was a lady based in jersey - great service.

the main birthday cake was made and iced by my sis - a number 3, iced in grass green roll out icing, found some chocolate daisies that were used around the sides. then i took a picture of fifi to the local cake shop and they made me a 3d fifi in coloured marzipan - which was balanced on top of the cake. I can upload a pic if you want to see it. was pretty easy to do.

Wow that is fantastic, I never even thought of asking a cake shop to make me a figure i was just scared of the £70-£80 they were charging for a fifi cake

thanks. the figure cost £10, so didn't break the bank. the rest about £12 - so not bad.

dd is after a princess cake this year - haven't got my head around how we'll pull this one off yet though and only got another 4 weeks.

one of the big supermarkets does a ready made fifi cake, if you want to buy one.
