Party help

Ds1 is 8 this year and instead of having a big party (which he always has) we are just having a few friends over (as its in the half term). But other then shove them upstairs on the playstation I dont really know what to do with them.

Dh is taking the day off work so that at some point we can taken them all over the aprk with a football. But i need ideas what to do with 6 8yo boys for a couple of hours. Also food, should i do sandwiches n crisps, or something cooked, or maybe create your own pizzas??

Need some guidance please.

DS1 went to pictures last year, then back to ours for tea. We went on the bus, it was fine.

right, ds loves the idea of creat your own pizza's. Should i put on the invitations which toppings they would prefer (so i can be organised) or just wing it on the day??

I would just wing it. Put out little pots of various toppings all ready to put on the pizzas and they can choose whatever they fancy.
