It's my nephews eighth birthday today. His mum took him & a few friends to the cinema, then it was back to their house for tea and a few friends & family joined them. At times it was a bit 'flat' and we could have done with a couple of 'games' to play with them. It's his brothers birthday next and he'll be 10. Any ideas? Nothing too organised, just something to fill in half an hour or so. Thanks

DS says a treasure hunt.

How about a lego model.

If you have photocopies of the instructions cut up into individual pictures, they have to find all the instructions. Hide them all around the house/garden.

They then have to collect all the pictures and instructions and then build the model. The first to finish is the winner.

They can keep the models as a going home bag.

DS is 9 years.
