What would you think if 25 kids get a happy meal as the birthday tea for a kids party after an hours energetic entertainment?

Yes or No?

Well it would be fine with me - but then even if I were inwardly judging (which I wouldn't be other than to say that's a very sensible option), I have enough manners to not say anything other than Thank you for having / entertaining / feeding them.

The only hesitancy I would have is the age of the dc - once you get into double figures, dc need more to fill them up.

It's quick and convenient especially if you phone them in advance.

I took a small group of children last year for DD Birthday her choice and had no complaints from parents it was a one off birthday treat.

I wouldnt say its any more unhealthy than the other things that are served up at children's parties, Crisps, sandwiches, Pizza, Sausage rolls, to name a few it doesnt matter how much fruit and Veg you put out at a kids party the majority is still there at the end.

How old are they?
Would it be cheaper/easier to buy a big bag of nuggets and chips and cook throw it all in the oven yourself? I don't know how much a happy meal is these days but guess about £3? £75 on happy meals seems an expensive way of feeding the little darlings!

Depends on the age - happy meals are £2.29 each. However it might be easier for you to get 20 boxes of nuggets(£3.99) and large fries(£1.39)

25xHappy meals = £57.25
100 chicken nuggets (in the 20 share boxes) = £19.95
Large fries = approx 3xSmall fries so = £12.24 (9 large fries)
Total= £32.19

Then just by some cheap pop or a pack of fruit shoots and serve that out.
They won't need the happy meal toys as I assume they'll have party bags etc.

So it would be cheaper to buy 5 boxes of 20 nuggets (4 nuggets each) and 9 boxes of large fries to portion out between them all than get 25 happy meals.

Either way just phone the McDonalds a couple of hours ahead of time and they will have it ready for you. Do NOT just turn up and ask for all of that stuff in the moment.

I would say "yes please" my son loves them, and it's a good easy no mess no cook option.
