I just ordered some sweetie bags from Lakeland to use as party bags - 50 for £2.

I would try and do a link but I'm incompetent.

Ponud shop also have things like 3 water bottles for £1 which could make a useful alternative to a bag or just a note pad and a pen, lots of sets of things in the poundshops.

Or even sandwich bags tied with curly ribbon, you can get packs of coloured wax type ones in tesco or asda.

I did lucky dips for the party guests, we had 42 at DTS party in Nov.

I did girly type things, wrapped them up in tissue and girls paper and then put them inside a cardboard box which I'd wrapped in sparkly paper.

The boys had a boys themed box.

None of it was very expensive, I put 5 things in each plus a fun sized sweet of some description. It worked out a lot cheaper than previous years and the kids LOVED it. They also got a slab of cake and a balloon which went down a treat.

I bought all the stuff from here

and I split up any sets of things.

I vowed never again but must admit, really enjoyed doing it.

Oh yes I forgot about lucky dips, great for when you have loads.
