Help! I need 20 party bags by 3.00pm on Monday!

Hi. Had planned to give our 6/7 year old guests a book and sweets each for their party bags, but have been let down by a well known online book company. Now have tomorrow (can't go today - off to see Mary Poppins!) to buy 15 girls and 5 boys party bags. Don't really want to go down the plastic toys route (hence the books) and don't want to spend a fortune either. Any ideas anyone. Will be gratefully appreciated!

go to your local Wilko's and get pens pencils rubbers note pads rulers that soert of thing?

Tescos are also good (and cheap) for the pens, note pads, etc

Thanks guys. I will probably do something like Wilkos tomorrow. I'm just a bit annoyed that I have to go and trawl round tomorrow when I thought I'd been organised for once in my life, and the books were good too!

clares accessories are doing 10 items for a fiver and accesorise have 70% off so can some nice pens and notes books for less than a quid

I've just got party bag stuff from Wilkos for football loving boys. Footy pencils and rubbers - really cheap. ALso Powerpods the ones where you get 3 players and some choc footballs for 75p - they were Home Bargains. Was going to be tight and only put one in each bag!

For girls and football hating boys (yes there are some!) have got packets of seeds (BOGOF at Woolies), pencils and tiny highlighters from Wilkos. Will bulk them out with a bit of choc.
