QUICK HELP please........Dr Who Fancy Dress Party

My 10 year old is going to a Dr Who Fancy Dress Party in two hours.

I'd not registered that it was a fancy dress party.

I'm not creative AT ALL.

We don't watch Dr Who.

Can you help me with this please

What costumes do you have already?

If you have a long scarf/coat/floppy hat he could go as Tom Baker's Dr Who.

Could you make a gas mask and go as "the empty child"

Can't find a link off hand but will look. Basically a WWII child with a gas mask on!

I was about to suggest that. I bet your grandparents have a gas mask somewhere.

i'd also go with tom baker - long scarf and raincoat.

No gas mask, but great idea. With more time DH could have come up with something.

If I'd more time boxes covered with foil would have been an option too, lol.

Went with Tom Baker in the end, quite simple once I'd got the gist, lol, although hat not quite right, not that it matters - he'd already taken it off!

Note to self: READ the bl**dy invitation properly next time!

My ds has just been invited to a dr who party....noted your little one went as Tom Baker, Ive got a few weeks to play with here so wondered what the other kids went as as well and how they did it....

anyone else have any ideas.....DS really wants to go as the current dr......but finding a brown pinstripe suit........cheap, isnt easy. Has anyone seen them anywhere, found a site that has black pinstripe suits at £17.99. Am I crazy about thinking of paying that much just to go to a party. I wonder if any other parents groaned liked I did when they saw this invitation!
