I've decided to give in and let dd have a party for her next birthday (she'll be 6) She's always nagged me for one but the idea of a house or hall full of kids fills me with terror
So I've decided to let her have this one party and thats it, but I don't want to do it myself. I want to just pay someone to come and entertain them for a couple of hours while I hide in a corner! lol We live in a tiny flat so I'm going to have to hire somewhere, probably the church hall which is fine but now I need an entertainer that will do everything for me. I don't know how far in advance these things get booked up so wanted to have a look now just incase, (party will be 3 or 4th Mar)
So does anyone have any recommendations? We're in the northwest.
It would have to be something suitable for girls and boys, and preferably not a magician/clown...dd hates them! lol

Thanks

if you're throwing money at it (!) why not hire a dj that specialises in kids parties? He will have them organised in now time, games competition etc etc. The one my friend used even supplied prizes and party bags. Your local paper should have a section for entertainers.

I'm thinking about my DD's birthday already too (feb 2) but I have done all the big parties and I think this year we will have a few friends over for tea on the day and maybe go and see Mary Poppins at the weekend (if I can get tickets that aren't extortionate!).
