I am going out with 11 other mums from my dd's class tonight. Having dinner and drinks. Can anyone give me ideas for a fun easy game to play at the table. I'm thinking of something like truth or dare with forfits but I'm not creative and it mustn't be too personal. Thanks

Please?

We don't all know each other well and would love an idea to break the ice other than us all telling our birth stories again.

I don't have any suggestion but do want to warn you some adults find games a little lame. Not to be rude. Read the paper cover to cover before you go out and you'll be a colorful conversationalist all night.

Sorry - too late to be of use for tonight, but a good one to keep in mind for another time:-

Everyone has a few (maybe 3 each for 11 of you) slips of paper. Write the name of a famous person/cartoon character dead/alive whatever on each one (eg Mickey Mouse). Fold it, all go in a hat/bowl.

Each takes a turn, for one minute, to take names out of hat, and describe person on it (eg cartoon mouse, girlfriend Minnie). Do as many as you can in the minute, but no need to count as it's just a laugh. When papers run out, put them back, and do same again, but this time using only 1 word (eg Mouse). When papers run out again, next round is actions only.

We play this EVERY dinner party and it's hilarious by the last round. My pal doing an impression of Joan of Arc burning at the stake was legendary!
