Suggestions for DD's 6th birthday party

I am trying to plan DD's birthday party for next Feb. She wants a make up/glitter type of party, but there is not much of that round our way (within a reasonable price!) and I would be rubbish at it. Any ideas for something girly would be very much appreciated as I have no inspiration at all.

My ds was at a Fairy and Pirates party where all the kids got to dress up and get face painted. Some of the adults were dressed up too. HE had a great time and everything was themed around fairies and pirates eg games, food, cups, plates etc

a little girl in ds's class has just had a princess party and all the girls were so pleased that they managed to have ther nails painted.

Could you get some friends to paint the girls nails at the party.

Or buy some glitter spray for their hair.

Or buy a pot of dusting glitter and brush a bit on their faces, or let them do it with their fingers.

Could you get them to all dress up???

You could let them all make princess pictures, just bul lots of paper, glue sticks, feathers, glitter, etc......

They'll have a great time.
