Pamper party for 6 and 8 year old

I'm considering throwing a pamper party for DD1&2 who are turning 6 and 8 (with help as DS2 has just arrived). What would you do to fill the time? How many children would you limit it to? I think that our girls would love to feel all 'grown up' and would enjoy it but I'm not sure how much activity I'll need to provide to keep them entertained.

My DD went to one of these about 10 years ago, so my recollection is hazy! The birthday girl's mum hired someone to run the party for her. I know they had their nails painted, got a temporary tattoo and made a bath bomb. Think they also made necklaces and bracelets, and painted a t shirt.

I remember that mum went to great lengths to explain that the girls wouldn't have any make up applied, apart from nails.

6 is plenty. Steer away from any makeup but toes and nails painted, hair braided, lip balm/body spray/bath bomb making are all fun ideas
