I thought I would do cheapo mini juggling balls, but even the cheapest I've found (Hawkins) are too much when you times it by dd's class.

Any ideas for a cheap but stunning circus-themey take home thing?

Oh bink I was going to suggest juggling balls....
hmmmm

How about stickers? on a clown theme? Should be able to find some for less than £1.
Really you want a diabolo or a mini magic trick or similar. Does no-one do that? (will hunt if get time later)

How about clown noses (or would the clown thing freak them out?)

Jackie, I was in fact thinking I had better contact the circus skills trainer person who is being the entertainer and just check that he is not going to be dressed as a clown ...

Isn't it weird, that clown thing? I really didn't like them either.

There was a thread just the other day, I think, about why are children scared of clowns - my DS certainly hates Mr Tumble. But they probably wouldn't mind noses as presents (and they only cost 30p). Hope you find something.

How old are the kids? You can make juggling balls, perhaps a good party activity. I sell diabolos but they are £4.75 each x 30 a bit much .
