Ideas for Craft and Dancing Hen Do in London

I've convinced my best friend that MN will have the answer for a fabulous crafty hen do in London. She is a master baker, so anything cakey is out of the question, and also a really good dancer (salsa, ballet etc.). She's done hat making and afternoon tea already at hen dos, so I was hoping for some inspiration from you!

The do will be in London in January (I'm not local so don't have a clue), and I was thinking maybe:

  1. Chocolate-making
  2. Pottery making or painting
  3. Sushi-making, although might not be ideal for everyone

.... and that's where I've run out of inspiration.

Help, please! If you know of a great venue and/or activity, please let me know!

I love the idea of the hen and brides all making a cup, then signing a teapot at Biscuit-Biscuit - thanks!

The price is competitive compared to Central London. If you need to transport people, you could get a river boat to greenwich from Central London. Thames clipper cheap or touristy boat with drinks.

Anyone else? Any help gratefully appreciated!

I just did a hen where we bought cocktail glasses and glass paint and everyone decorated one for the bride (I had to take them all home and put them in the oven to fix them) - we actually did it in a room at the spa we went to. I phoned them in advance and just said we wanted to do a few games and stuff and they we're find about it. Depending on how far everyone has to travel could that be a solution?

Thank you, babybouncer. My friend doesn't drink, so I'm trying to avoid anything alcoholic! I wonder if we could do glass painting for other glasses though, maybe just tumblers. Was that in London?
