I am going to have about 12 6/7 yr old boys (YIKES!)

That's a cracking idea! Can't think of anything specific, apart from lots of cheese obviously, but you will probably find some ideas here - there is a 'dog party' category. here

wensleydale cheese
"pot of tea" - well serve their drinks from a tea pot
go onto to w&g website and download some of the wallpaper images. then print them off and get them laminated as placemats - kids could then take them home
