we have all the big things really - swing, slide, trampoline, radio flyer cart

nanny wants to buy soemthing along these lines but wondering if theres something nicer and not so big.

so what did the second dd/ds get on their 1st birthdays?

I hardly got anything for first birthday. While I could still get away with it.
How about one of those coupe cars? They went down a hit in this house.

We just said if people asked to have the money to put in dd trust fund.

THis worked for us, although this could have been because dd birthday is a month after christmas so she didn't need anything else and we would rather that she had the money when she needs it and not now when she neither wants or needs anything.

I didn't buy much for either of my boys for their first birthdays. I think DS1 got a fisher price cement mixer toy & DS2 got clothes!
How about an activity table, a push along walker, little people stuff, a little dolls pram or a little doll of her own?
