Sounds fine to me. How about a ballon?

beckybrastraps · 08/09/2006 14:30

beckybrastraps · 08/09/2006 14:32

lots of people hate them, and think they should be banned! plenty of threads on this in the past! I think cake and a balloon or similar is fine. Something I have done - buy bumper pack of crayons from pound shop, split so each child gets 4/5 crayons, print out colouring in pages from internet with suitable characters for age. Cheap present, little cost!

I'm not a fan myself, and I don't do them. I do however eat the chocolate that comes in the ones my ds gets.

If you are talking about cheap plastic rubbish, more sweets and noisy blowers I wouldn't bother.

You can do stationery, books and other ideas just as cheap and are much more appreciated.

If you have the money and want to do them then fine if you are struggling to afford them and are only doing them because you feel obliged then don't.

I love doing party bags. Used to put them together for other people (still do them for friends).
Have loads of party bag stuff that i'm now selling off really cheaply if you're interested.
Something to suit all ages, boys and girls, ranging from 5p to 30p per item.

Last year I bought a load of cheap (but nice) picture books. Cost 99p each. They all got one and a slice of cake!
