Hen party ideas ? Spa day near Bristol ?

Hi everyone, I have offered to organise sil's hen party as dd is too little to oblige - and is her only bridesmaid !

She fancies a spa day - and it has to be somewhere in the Bristol area ! So far my only idea is the new Bath Thermae - but she doesn't seem overly enamoured !

It's only for a group of about 8 of us - two mothers, one mother-aged friend, 1 bride (25), 2 brides's friends, me (39) and groom's sister (30)- so not a big rowdy bunch !

Anyone know anywhere nice ? I am thinking along the lines of Calcot Manor - but maybe more Bristol/Bath area ??

Thanks

this is in Bristol itself - it's lovely, very peaceful and on Saturdays it was always 'ladies only'. There is massage and floatation tanks too if the fancy takes you, and some of it is outside which is fab on a nice sunny day (even if it's not too warm).

Ooohh - all look fab !! Will put before the "Queen" and see what she chooses !!

Thank you !!

Forgot to suggest THe Marriot on College Green in the centre. A day pass is £17 to use swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzis etc, you can also book treatments in advance.

Had a lovely day there with a friend and quite handy as very central, you can order meals to be delivered to the health club area but afterwards there are plenty of places to eat on the waterfront if you choose.

Another vote for the Bristol Royal Marriott stayed there with a friend for a weekend last year and the spa was lovely (you can use tesco clubcard vouchers to pay if you stay over but not for the spa itself) lovely location for shopping theatre and restaurant etc.
