Lego usually a good bet at that age.
Nerf guns, too.
Good books (like cool aeroplanes or dinosaurs).
Maze books.
Tintin, perhaps, if he can read.

Second Nerf guns (they also do great waterpistols) and lego.
Kitchen science kit
Geomag

We've been buying football scarves from sports world for Ds friends birthdays.

Tbf, my 8yo Ds and 7 yo nephew, hate Lego. Sounds like they're in the minority though...

Passthecake30 · 17/03/2014 13:58

My 6 yr old doesn't touch Lego....and I bet out of the 30 coming to his party 20 will buy him Lego. Anyway....

Craft stuff, mosaic type stickers, horrid Henry books,

What is appreciated the most by him is a £5 note tbh, and the choice to get what he wants.
